Signing up for automatic payments is the easiest way to ensure your loan payment is on time. When you make payments automatically from your bank account, you won’t pay a late fee as long as you have sufficient funds in your bank account to cover your payment.
Some banks place a hold on the funds one business day earlier, so it's best to have the funds in your account by then.
We must receive your check by 11:30 am Pacific Time (12:30 pm Mountain Time, as stated in your loan agreement) on a business day to process your payment on the same day. If we receive your check later than 11:30 am Pacific Time on a business day, we'll process it the next business day.
Payments by phone
If you contact us to pay electronically, we can process your payment the following business day if we receive your request before 2 pm Pacific Time. If we receive your request after 2 pm Pacific Time, we won’t be able to process your payment until two business days later. For example:
- If you call us on Monday at 10 am Pacific Time to request a one-time electronic payment, then we’ll process your payment on Tuesday.
- If you call us on Monday at 3 pm Pacific Time to request a one-time electronic payment, then we’ll process your payment on Wednesday.
Please have your bank account information ready when you call.
Wire transfer payments
We must receive wire transfer payments by 11:30 am Pacific Time on a business day to process your payment that day. If we receive your wire transfer later than 11:30 am Pacific Time on a business day, we'll process it the next business day.
If you'd like to pay off your loan by wire transfer, you'll need to provide this information to your bank:
