The online version of TurboTax currently supports up to 500 reportable transaction line items on a single Form 1099. If you have more than 500 reportable transaction line items on your Form(s) 1099-B, you will need to use the TurboTax software (available via CD or download) rather than the online version. Its software supports up to 2500 transactions. However, your system configuration (processor type, speed and memory) will determine the number of transactions that can be imported without a noticeable degradation of system performance.
