Once you pay off your loan, your account is no longer active. If you applied for a loan and didn't accept or receive an offer, your account also isn't active.
Regulatory reporting and information retention requirements prevent us from deleting your account information. To comply with both federal and state laws, we're required to keep these records and can't remove your account information from our records until the required record-retention period expires.
