Once you pay off your loan, your account is no longer active and the payoff will be reported to the credit bureaus within 30 days from the date the final payment was made. If you need an official payoff statement, you can contact us to request it.
If you applied for a loan and didn't accept or receive an offer, your account also isn't active.
Regulatory reporting and information retention requirements prevent us from deleting your account information. To comply with both federal and state laws, we're required to keep these records and can't remove your account information from our records until the required record-retention period is over.
