- To verify income, we may request documents such as recent pay stubs or bank statements.
- To verify your employment status, we may contact the employer you listed in your loan application
To see what we're waiting on from you:
- Sign in to your Account Summary.
The Account Summary page will display with your personal To-Do List, which shows tasks you must complete before we can review your loan.
- Click each of the items in your To-Do List and follow the prompts to complete those tasks.

Why does LendingClub verify my income?
For our marketplace to work for both borrowers and investors, it’s important to verify the amount and stability of borrowers’ income.
We verify the income stated in your application by reviewing the documents you provide. If what's shown on these documents doesn't add up to the amount you said you earn, we may request that you provide additional proof of income.
If you aren’t able to show that you earned this amount through the documents we requested, we likely won't be able to offer a loan.
