Nearly all loans receive full investor backing—and many are fully backed in a few days. But since we’re a credit marketplace, there are times when loans aren’t backed by investors for the full amount of your loan offer.
Sections in this article cover:
How we’ll notify you
If your loan isn’t backed by investors for the full amount, we’ll email you to let you know before the loan issues. If your loan is partially backed by investors, you may be able to get a loan for the partial amount. If that’s the case for you, the email will give the details. If you don’t want to receive a loan for less than the full amount, you can cancel your loan.
Canceling your loan
To cancel a loan, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll include the deadline for canceling in the email that tells you the loan is not fully funded.
- In the subject line of your email, include the word “withdraw” and your loan number.
- In the body of the email, say you want to withdraw your loan request.
- Your email must be sent from the email address associated with your account.
Canceling your loan won’t impact your credit score. If you cancel, you’ll receive a notice explaining that your loan was not fully backed by investors.
